Volleyball Attacking Drill: Back Row Attack
This drill improves approach timing and power for effective back row attacks.
Instructions: Start behind the 10-foot line in a ready, athletic posture. Take your first step at ball peak and accelerate into an explosive step-close while maintaining awareness of the line with your peripheral vision. Stay low and loaded through your approach, ensuring your last two steps are powerful and clearly behind the 10-foot line. Jump aggressively and finish high through the ball, scoring with confidence from the back row.
Reps: 3–4 sets x 8–10 reps
