Softball Drill for Throwing: Plyo Ball Scap Load
This drill improves shoulder loading and arm path for efficient throwing mechanics.

Instructions: This drill develops a strong scap load and improves upper-body sequencing for efficient throwing mechanics. Using a plyo ball at short distance, begin with isolated scap-load throws by pinching the scap to set the arm, then delivering a smooth, whippy throw without overusing the lower body. For the wrong-foot progression, stand with the opposite foot forward to remove lower-body contribution and emphasize clean upper-body movement and arm path.
Reps: 2 sets × 8 scap-load throws + 2 sets × 6 wrong-foot throws
