Football Drill for Running Backs: Bag Agility

This drill improves foot speed, balance, and ball control in tight spaces.

Instructions: Begin with one foot in each bag, staying light and quick on your feet. Keep the ball high and tight, chin over the ball, elbow in, and eyes up. Progress to two feet in each bag, emphasizing fast turnover and controlled balance. Add shuffle movement with shoulders square and hips low, then finish with the hole closed progression, reacting quickly and keeping your feet active through tight space. Focus on quick feet, strong ball security, and controlled body position on every rep.

Reps: 3–4 sets x 3–4 reps per progression
