Football Drill for Quarterbacks: Movement Bottom

This drill improves pocket movement, control, and balance under pressure.

Instructions: Start in your throwing position with hands up and eyes downfield. On command, take two short, controlled steps forward to climb the pocket without crossing your feet. Stay in your base, keep your shoulders quiet, and reset on balance before finishing with a strong foot strike. For the jab step, take a quick, controlled jab to one side, then reverse out the opposite direction with two to three shuffle steps. Re-establish your base with shoulders square and eyes up, finishing ready to throw. Move with purpose, maintain discipline, and reset clean every rep.

Reps: 3–4 sets x 5–6 reps per phase
