Ankle Sprain Corrective Exercise: Lateral Step Down
Stand with the affected ankle on a small step and the opposite ankle off the side of the step. Stand up tall and slowly lower your outside foot to tap the floor with your heel lightly, keeping the stance knee aligned over the second toe. Rise back up with control.
