Softball Drill: Tennis Ball Framing
This drill develops soft hands and precise glove control at the edges of the strike zone. Stand in your receiving stance and prepare for balls in different corners of the zone. Receive each ball with relaxed hands, isolating glove movement to keep the body quiet. After securing the ball, use a subtle, controlled motion to bring it back toward the zone without drifting or dragging.
