Softball Drill: Lateral Blocking
This drill builds explosive lateral movement for blocking balls to the left and right. Start centered in your blocking stance with space to move in either direction. Push off the opposite foot to drive laterally, drop into your blocking position as you reach the ball, then pop up quickly to reset for the next repetition.
