Softball Drill: Crossover
This drill trains an explosive first step and expands lateral fielding range. Start in an athletic stance with cones marking the lanes to your left and right. Take a strong crossover step toward the side, close the distance under control, and field the ball using proper mechanics before resetting for the next repetition.
