Softball Drill: Arms Pumping
This drill improves sprint mechanics and acceleration for tracking fly balls. Set up a 20–30 yard straight running lane and begin in an athletic start position. Run the full distance while exaggerating strong, efficient arm drive, focusing on keeping the arms tight, rhythmic, and synced with the lower body to reinforce proper acceleration mechanics.
