Softball Drill: 1, 2 Field with PVC Pipe
This drill reinforces proper fielding posture and a clean glove path while minimizing upper-body movement. Hold a PVC pipe across your shoulders and hinge at the hips as the ball is rolled out front. Field the ground ball by working through it with your lower body, keeping the chest stable and funneling the ball in without rotating the shoulders or dropping the pipe.
