Softball Drill: 1, 2, 3 Sequence Progression

This drill improves transition speed from receiving the ball to transferring and moving into the throwing motion. Begin in your receiving stance prepared for short tosses. Receive the ball cleanly, move it immediately into your throwing hand, then execute your 1–2 footwork sequence to begin the throw or simulate the release. Reset quickly and prepare for the next repetition.
