Lacrosse Drill: Approach and Breakdown
This drill trains defenders to close space under control, break down efficiently, and force predictable dodges. Begin 5–7 yards away from the attacker and sprint forward to close the gap with speed. As you approach, decelerate smoothly and drop into a strong breakdown stance 2–3 feet from the attacker, staying balanced and ready to react before resetting for the next repetition.
